How to Cook Chicken Adobo ala Jerome

Adobong manok is one of the most popular Asian Filipino cuisine. And in the past year, this food is improved by other Filipino and create their own recipe. They also changed their technique in cooking this food. But no matter what they do, it still the food that the Filipino will be proud of.

Ingredients:

1 whole chicken, and cut it into desired size
1/4 cup soy sauce
7 pieces Calamansi( get its juice)
1 sachet of banana ketchup/ 100g
1 medium onion/ chopped
5 gloves garlic/ chopped
1 cup of water
1 small can of Reno liver spread
125g of eden cheese
3 tbsp picked kinchay
1 spoon of sugar
2 large red bell peppers( seeded and cut into half- inch strips)
2 pieces potatoes ( cut into desired size)
salt and pepper to taste



Procedures:

1. Heat the garlic into the stove until it turns to golden brown. Then add the chopped onion until it becomes translucent.

2. Add the chopped chicken and stir it. After that cover it and wait until the excessive water is
evaporated.

3. Now add 1/4 cup of soy sauce,water, calamansi juice, kinchay, reno liver spread and the eden cheese.

4. Cover it again and wait until it boil. Once it boil, turn your stove into low heat.

5. After 15 minutes. Check it and Add  1 tbsp of sugar and the chopped potatoes.

6. If the potatoes is tender add the bell pepper the the banana ketchup. You can now also put salt and pepper for your desire taste.

7. Wait until the bell pepper is tender, but i suggest that half cook is okay.

8. If you like chicken dry, simmer it for a little longer.

9. Serve and enjoy. You can serve it into the top of  a rice and a pair of a glass cold water.
